HEALTH, CHARACTER, BEAUTY - MY BREEDING'S PHILOSOPHY

Animals were always very important in my life. Since I remember, I alwayshad dogs, cats,
hamsters and other farm animals in my house.
I wanted to be a vet but some plans changed and this never happened but on the other hand, all is not yet lost.
At the beginning, I took care of mongrels from destitute animal shelter which were always sterilized and castrated.
My biggest love was Rex - crossbred of German shepherd. However, because of his disease,
we could only spend 5 years together. I found Rex on Train Station
( somebody threw him out from a train. He wander around station looking for his owner)
and he loved me with all his heart and soul. He was the best dog I had ever had.

In 2006, my adventure with dogs started for good. After long and hard searching, in Lanckorona,
I found my black love Roxette. She somehow changed my life as she brought to my home lots of happiness
and need of incessant education which lasts till nowadays. I started taking part in breeding shows with Roxette.
She showed me that my life should be based on dogs, more precisely, on English Cocker Spaniels.!!

In spring 2007, I got black-and-tan boy Warmhearted" Roxicocker from Italian breeding. Unfortunately after all genetic tests
it turned out that warmhearted Roxicocker is seriously ill on prcd-PRA ( Progressing Retinal Atrophy) and PPM.
Probably, he will start losing eyesight at the age of five. It was a huge blow for me and since that time
I decided to breed my cockers based only on healthy dogs.
Warmhearted was castrated and it is not used in my breed.

Fortunately, all tests of Roxi were fantastic! Clinical heart and eyes are healthy.
DNA tests: prcd - PRA (Progressing Retinal Atrophy) are NORMAL/CLEAR, FN ( fatal kidney disease / Familial Nefropaty) NORMAL/CLEAR,
HD (Hip joints) A-perfect. Roxi will never born puppies ill on PRA and FN.

In autumn, after long efforts, Ann Sward, an owner of great Cockers' breeding from Sweden named
A ONES, gave me a she dog which has outstanding parents. Her name is Scientia Est Potentia A One,s
- at home we call her Patty. Her beauty won my heart. She is full of energy and needs to be on the run all the time
- some kind of an adult cocker with puppy's soul.
Patty is free of such diseases as: prcd-PRA and FN thanks to her parents.
Both were tested and got results NORMAL/CLEAR. Clinical eyes of Patty are healthy (certificate).
Tests of her hip joints (HD) is A/Clear .
Patty will never born puppies ill on PRA and FN.

In the summer of 2009, Roxette had her second and last litter. The very last born was a beautiful black and tan girl.
I gave her the name: KEEP YOUR LOVE and my son gave her the name: MIMI.
As my son loved Mimi so much she has stayed with us in our home.
Mimi parents both have healthy hearts and are both clear (PRCD-PRA) eyes.
Mimi's mother is FN clear. Mimi will be tested for FN and HD.
She is clear by parentage for PRA
We are very much looking forward to Mimi's debut in the show ring in 2010

The year 2010 brought us many novelties and surprises.
Sometimes people look for something far away ...and it may be lying in your fingertips.
This is how it was with our new family members because
our family inhabited two beautiful girls from Polish kennels.

The first of these ESTI Jesionowe Góry, came to our home in the summer.
ESTI is a sum of three great things about the English cocker spaniel:
anatomy, character and movement.
In addition, she is free from diseases, prcd-PRA and FN.
I wanted to thank Magda and Bartek from Jesionowe Góry
for this wonderful GIFT.

The second female, KARRAMBA Izomer, came during a very special time,
Christmas.
BAMBI carries the gene of chocolate and also the fulfillment of my dreams.
Of having a female with such a great pedigree.
She has a wonderful balanced character, which she shows at every opportunity.
BAMBI is also free from disease prcd-PRA and FN.
